My opinion: This competition is very cool (Thank you, Zálesák)
This race take two days (Sa and Su) and its name is Vpred (it means Ahead, I think). It competition for teams with 2 or 3 persons. We were 3 personns at start. We have to have some inmportant things with us for this competition like sleeping-bag, food alternate clothing and some bandages for possible injury. These things every one had to wear in their bags on their back. We were started on Saturday at 10:30 and on the start we had to riddle great cipher, like this: "Your first letter of your message is 25th letter of 10th row from the text on war monument....and so on. We had to make out all message this way and then we knew where is nexttask. Whole comptition is for time, therefore it is good to run. There were some tasks during race. For example: canoe riding, rope sliding down, rope climbing, rope creeping horizontal...shooting with some guns (including trap)..and we had to find our next way from cipher or from compass...no wonder, we were strayed one time. It was very unfriendly weather, because this Saturday was 3 degrees above zero, hard wind and it was rainy. Everyone was draggled and everyone felt coldness. In the end of Saturday we ran into finish of the first day. (It was still daylight). Most of teams didnt catch return before darkness. It is horrible to go in the wood at night and find some mesages. We were in pub in the evening, there were warm. We slept in the bus stop on the concrete floor, because it was still rainy. Everybody who were going around us, he told himself how crazy we are. Because it was a disco in this village where we were sleeping, many people were noisy there, therefore sleeping was very hard here. :-) No wonder, the temperature was 2 degrees below zero, and we were freezing at night. We were stiff in the morning, but we continued this race. (only 2 because our 3rd runner was girl and she was at bottom with her physical forces after 1st day. 2nd day was fog with rain. 2nd day wasnt succesfull enough for us, some ciphers was too difficult for us and we had to run very fast to be in finnish at time. So we were running, so much that I was at bottom with my physical forces too. We had pitch. We ran down 2 minutes after time limit, therefore it was added 2 hours to our total time. So we were clasificated on 9th place (of 23 teams) (we could be 4th without 2 hours penalty), and I thing everybody who was running this race is really right fan of crazy competitions. So, lenght of all way was 35 km. Next competition of this type will be on September and I hope the weather will be better...
